Cape Verdean coffee beans are considered one of the best in the world. These rare exotic Arabica plants grow in the volcanic island of Fogo on black basalt rocks called lapilli for over 300 years. The taste is very sweet with a full and strong body, an elegant acidity and a silky aftertaste. The aroma ranges from ripe tropical fruits to chocolate, red fruits, lemons, blackberries and vanilla. We created Fumada Blend, an espresso with beans from Honduras, Peru and Fogo, Cape Verde. This blend was hand-picked, combining the smooth, delicate and aromatic flavors from the Peruvian bean balanced with soft and sweet tones of the Honduran bean carefully hand-roast with the Fogo beans to bringing out the chocolaty tones and a sweet berry taste in both the flavor and aroma as well as the pleasant finish/aftertaste. Truly an exquisite cup of coffee and a must for the coffee connoisseur.
